9 Amazon Chairs I Would Use Again

I’ve used a lot of Amazon furniture while building Room Edit spaces, but these are the chairs I keep coming back to. Great shapes, interesting texture, rich color—and most importantly, they don’t have that obvious “Amazon furniture” look.

The Olive Swivel Chair

Olive Velvet Barrel Chair — $309

This one has become one of my favorite ways to add color without making a room feel overly colorful. The deep olive reads almost like a neutral, while the rounded silhouette gives a room that soft, collected look I love.

The Burgundy Statement Chair

Burgundy Sculptural Accent Chair — $189

If a room needs one piece that instantly makes it feel more designed, this is it. The exaggerated curved arms and deep wine color give it a high-end, sculptural look without needing much styling around it.

The Rust Dining Chair

Rust Upholstered Dining Chair — $95

Warm wood and rust upholstery are such a good combination. This chair adds just enough color and texture to make a simple dining table feel more interesting, but it’s still classic enough to work with a lot of different styles.

The Rust Sculptural Chair

Rust Curved Accent Chair — $120

The shape does most of the work here. I love using a chair like this in a room because it breaks up all the straight lines from sofas, tables and casegoods while bringing in that perfect earthy rust tone.

The Olive Corduroy Chair

Olive Corduroy + Chrome Lounge Chair — $108

A little ’70s, a little modern and one of the coolest chairs in the group. The olive corduroy gives it warmth while the chrome frame keeps it from feeling too heavy or overly retro.

The Traditional Wingback

Cream Tufted Wingback Chair — $239

Traditional furniture can make a room feel incredibly current when it’s mixed with unexpected pieces. I love the contrast of this classic wingback against bolder rugs, modern lighting and slightly irreverent prints.

The Textured Cream Chair

Cream Textured Lounge Chair — $62

This is exactly the kind of neutral chair I look for: simple shape, major texture. The plush upholstery gives it personality, so it doesn’t disappear into the room the way a basic beige chair sometimes can.

The Cognac + Chrome Dining Chair

Cognac Upholstered Cantilever Chair — $80

Chrome and cognac might be one of my favorite furniture combinations. The cantilever frame gives this one a designer vintage feel, while the warm upholstery keeps it from feeling cold or overly modern.

The Rattan Chair

Rattan Accent Chair — $323

This is the chair for rooms that need a little more warmth and character. The woven frame immediately gives it a collected, almost vintage quality and works especially well with layered pillows, warm woods and earthy colors.

The Design Takeaway

The thing these chairs have in common isn’t one particular design style—it’s personality.

Instead of defaulting to the safest neutral chair in the search results, look for one element that makes the piece special: an unusual silhouette, velvet or corduroy upholstery, chrome framing, woven rattan or a really good color.

That one decision can make the difference between a room that feels furnished and a room that feels designed.
